the Avtomat Essena AE-0006+ is the brainchild of the Russian F. V. Essen Manufacturing Company. Salient stats: 6.2x34mm armor piercing caseless ammunition, electronic ignition, 900 rounds per minute, trigger-slaved fire control (crisp pull for semi, hold down for auto). Manufactured entirely out of mil-spec ballistic polymer, it's light, waterproof, reliable, and close to indestructible. The barrel is of course easily detachable; the magazine holds 40 rounds. Oh, and did I mention that the module on top houses a memory chip that can interface with head-mounted HUD systems and stores user preferences for every facet of weapon operation, from trigger sensitivity to fire rate to favorite brand of vodka?
